Dear Vocalist,
It is my great joy and honor to invite you to join us for the Fall 2008 School of Voice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The staff and I are really excited about this historical event. This is the first time that we have coordinated an event of this nature in this area, so we are elated to have the opportunity to provide an environment of vocal instruction and training for the vocalists in the Tri-City area.
My desire for this school is to be a time of intense coaching for singers of all types: praise and worship leaders, choir members, soloists, etc. This may be a little different than what you are used to in that we are not focusing on learning a series new songs and having a concert at the end of the meetings. Instead, we have chosen to focus the time that we have together on teaching, demonstration, and exercises that will help to develop you vocally. So many singers have all the new CDs, and sing all the hot songs, but lack the tools necessary to get the most out of their voice. Topics covered will include “How the Body Makes Sound”, “How to Increase Your Range”, “Breathing Techniques”, “Dieting” and much more!
